Skeptics, mythbusters, and debunkers are saying the White Serial Killer is a myth. What they are really saying is that it's a myth that all serial killers are white. Who said they were all white? I don't know anyone who said that. I know some profilers automatically profile a criminal as white and get it wrong but no one said they're all white. And even if someone said that, they didn't mean it literally.
I accept 20 percent as black. (Some studies say 40% but that's with a definition of serial killers as two or more rather than three or more kills which adds 50% more killers to the list. That also probably includes non-stranger murders when serial killings are stranger murders by definition with perhaps the odd known victim.)
I'm going for it now.
Black males make up 6% of the US population and 20% of the SKs. White males are 31 percent of the population and 70% of the serial killers. This site says 84 percent but I think they're mixing Hispanics in. www.factretriever.com/serial-killer-facts
Maybe we need some spectral analysis.

Here's a guy (or gal) working with the same percentages I agree with but I think he comes up with a different conclusion. Serial Killers are White because there are more whites. Mostly true minus the spectral analysis.
I got a 1.5 factor with a 20 vs 70 percent split in serial killers and a 6 vs 31 % split in male population.
He got a 2 factor with a 22 to 78 percent split minus Hispanics etc. and an unknown split in male population.
I claimed a factor of 2 as an Indicator. Anything substantially less is within the margin of error.
All you have is a rate greater only "roughly by a factor of 2". That can easily be accounted for by the factors like inmate DNA matches mentioned above and others too:
-There's also the Mullatos (Wayne Williams is part White no question),
-There's Conformity, with Blacks living in and conforming to White community much more than Whites living and conforming to Black community, Conformity can be for the good and the bad and therefore for Criminal and non-criminal behavior
-continued release of Black rapists who learn eventually to kill their victim to prevent identification (this is a learned behavior and not a real serial killer)
-factor of error at least half a percent
All other rates of crimes/arrests for Blacks would also be lowered by these factors when taken into account by a percent or so but it only makes a difference in Serial Killing taking it down from 2 to roughly even.

It was never a specifically "White Race" issue anyway. White is not a race.
It's not A PART of a spectrum of all colors. It is a spectrum in itself. Black is also a spectrum.
Within both spectrums, there is a potential and real Serial Killer segment. The fact that anyone in either spectrum can potentially become a Serial Killer does not negate the fact that one segment has more potential compared to others in their own spectrum and to similar segments in other spectrums.
